Liz Rice
Founder & Executive Coach
Elizabeth (Liz) Rice is an accomplished security industry leader, consultant, and leadership coach with a proven record of developing high-performing teams and transforming complex security organizations. With a career spanning healthcare, education, financial, and critical infrastructure sectors, Liz is widely recognized for her ability to build leaders capable of navigating today’s rapidly changing threat and organizational landscapes.
A strategist and facilitator at heart, Liz has coached and cultivated hundreds of security leaders — equipping them to operate with confidence, empathy, and strategic acumen. She has designed and led leadership academies, developed enterprise operating models, and facilitated workshops that strengthen communication, collaboration, and resilience within organizations of all sizes. Her ability to blend operational rigor with human-centered leadership has become a hallmark of her work.
Liz’s expertise spans security operations, executive protection, cybersecurity integration, and public/private partnership initiatives. She has guided executives and agencies in the design of shared services and integrated programs that enhance security posture, streamline operations, and foster cross-functional collaboration. She has worked with dozens of organizations to include Kaiser Permanente, PG&E, Blue Shield of California, Clorox, UC Berkeley, Wells Fargo, The Washington Post Company, and more.
Throughout her career, Liz has held senior leadership roles such as Senior Vice President of Security Operations, Vice President of Security Strategy, and Director of Consulting Services. She has been recognized as a SIA Power 100 Woman, contributed to Equity in Action Award–winning initiatives at Kaiser Permanente, and has been featured in Security Magazine and The Security Podcast for her thought leadership and influence in the profession.
Deeply committed to advancing the security industry, Liz founded Z Multiplier LLC, an organization focused on uplifting talent, coaching emerging and senior leaders, and creating safer workplaces and communities through education and collaboration.
She currently serves as the Director of Security Operations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), where she leads integrated security operations, fosters cross-functional partnerships, and continues her mission to develop leaders who elevate the practice and purpose of security.

Deirdre Fike
Deirdre Fike has over 30 years of experience in Law Enforcement and Corporate Security leadership roles. Most recently, she was the Vice President of Investigations and Intelligence at MGM Resorts International, where she led strategies for internal, fraud, cyber forensic, and security investigations, as well as the Workplace Violence Program and Emergency Management. With over 28 years in the FBI, she retired as Assistant Director in Charge of the Los Angeles Field Office, managing national security and criminal investigations. Her career also includes leadership roles in Anchorage, Sacramento, and FBI Headquarters, where she led crisis management, SWAT operations, and global inspections.
Post-retirement, Ms. Fike served as Vice President and Chief Security Officer at Kaiser Permanente. In 2017, she received the Presidential Rank Award for her service in the U.S. Government's Senior Executive Service. She currently co-chairs the Domestic Security Alliance Council, representing private sector interests in partnership with the FBI and DHS.
Ms. Fike holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and business administration and is an active member of the American Society of Industrial Security.

Lisa Terry
Lisa Terry, CHPA, CPP, has over 30 years of experience leading healthcare security, police, safety, and emergency management programs. Lisa has served as the Chief of Campus Police and Public Safety with WakeMed Health and Hospitals in Raleigh, North Carolina, Chief of Police and Public Safety with Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and Director of Hospital Police and Transportation at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Lisa most recently served as the Chief Development Officer for Vistelar Conflict Management Solutions. Before that, she served as Vice President of healthcare for Allied Universal®. As 2024 Chair of the ASIS Healthcare Community Steering Committee and as a former board president and guidelines council member of IAHSS, Lisa has been fortunate to collaborate with some of the country's greatest minds in healthcare, security, and policing. She shares her knowledge, strategies, and lessons learned for successfully preventing and mitigating violence in her books: "Preventing Violence in the Emergency Department" and "The Active Shooter Response Toolkit for Healthcare Workers.”

Jill Weisensel
Jill Weisensel is an industry-leading trainer and expert in conflict management and workplace violence prevention with over two decades of experience helping create safer workplaces, schools, and hospitals. She is the founder of Atlas Training & Consulting, a conflict management consulting firm focused on creating safe and empowered workforces. She served as the Vice President of Instructional Design for Vistelar LLC, an internationally known conflict management company addressing the entire spectrum of violence. She has over 20 years of experience in hospital security, law enforcement, and education. She is the author of Ending Lateral Violence: Creating Emotionally and Physically Safe Workplaces (2022), and Confidence in Conflict for Campus Life (2014), a verbal de-escalation and personal safety book written for high school students preparing for college life. She is also the co-developer of the Marquette University TAKES ACTION bystander intervention program, which spurred her interest in ethical intervention in professional settings.
